Entering Darkmoon
As you enter the temple, you are greeted by Nadia and Joril, two priests at the entrance. They seem friendly, but will attack you if you cause damage or attempt to go beyond the door at the end of the entrance area.
Calandra's Sister
In the corner, you will find a woman who is looking for her sister Calandra. Like Amber, who Khelben sent you to seek, you will meet Calandra later.
Poking around
There is not much else to this room. If you break a window, Nadia will yell at you (and attack you if you do it again). In another corner is a "fine stone carving of the four winds". This carving is a sealed entrance to one of the towers - you will get back to this later.
If you try to get through the door, you will be given a warning. If you trespass a second time, the priests will attack.
Killing the priests
Whether it is for breaking a window, trespassing, or attacking the priests directly, they will eventually fight you (otherwise you cannot proceed). Kill them to have free access to the temple.
The Resurrection Ankh
In the corridor beyond the door, one of your party members will notice a secret door. Click on the wall and a teleporter will be revealed. This will lead you to a big ankh with plaques on either side that read "Death be undone by me, but I shall only grant three". Using the ankh allows you to resurrect dead characters up to three times.
Although letting a party member die is never a good idea (because of a loss of experience), this ankh is important for two reasons. First, it is your only way of resurrecting dead party members until your cleric reaches level 10 and gains the ability to cast Raise Dead. Secondly, it allows you to resurrect characters that are not in your party, when you find a complete set of bones.
When you're done, go back using one of the teleporters in the room. One will teleport you back into the ankh room, while the other will take you to the corridor where you found the hidden passage.
Upstairs
On either side of the corridor is a stairway, one leading up, and the other leading down. When you go upstairs, an angry priest will tell you to get lost. Kill him. Your thief currently is too low a level to pick the locks in this area, so for now you will have to turn back. However, you will be gain access to this area later.
Downstairs
The other stairway at the first corridor leads down to the catacombs.
