• 17th May 2009
  • Added various links throughout.
  • Deleted two crappy old articles.
• 15th May 2009
  • The old PHP scripts (D-iscussion Board, DGB, Mailform and Abacus) have been retired.
  • Added new network programming links.
  • Sorted a lot of the stuff in the Links section under more appropriate subsections.

  • Added a section on Chatbots and the Loebner Prize.
  • Added links to a 3-part video about Dijkstra.
  • This site will experience a redesign sometime in summer.

  • Fixed images that were broken in the PC Building Tutorial, and also made minor corrections to the text.

  • Added a link under Personal Projects to my IT blog - this is not really a full-fledged blog, but just a place to occasionally post some interesting IT news, or write about some new IT thing I'm learning.

  • Added a new section for energy saving links. Energy saving is something to seriously consider, with all the time we spend at our computers, and with issues such as global warming and rising fuel prices.

  • A new release of Picaxo is available, including a Windows port. There are no new features; just lots of fixes in order to make it work on Windows.
  • The Picaxo website also has a couple of new screenshots of Picaxo on Windows XP (both x86 and x64).

  • As of yesterday, I have been working on a new project, which I have called Picaxo. This is an image viewer written in C using the SDL library. At present it doesn't have much functionality, but it is still a young project. Some nice things about it are that it is lightweight and cross-platform. You can see some screenshots or download the source code at the site I set up for it.
